Are most of you using exactly the correct size of glass for the bed, or 16” square, which is a little undersized but fairly easy to find online?

I personally went to a window shop and had it cut to size. Prices are very cheap there. I measured the black PCB and cut to that size. Polished edges are typically included in price but rounded corners double price easily. I wanted to avoid online in case it arrived shattered.

I’ve sent a message to a glass shop in the town next door to see if they can hook me up. I think I want 3/16” thick as a compromise between flatness and weight.

1/4" seems to be a bit thick for the stock Z motor, I would agree 3/16" is a great compromise and still gets you plenty of heat consistency
